Polyfest trip

All week me and my classmates were looking forward to Polyfest. My teacher said we could bring some money for the stands so I got some money and headed to school.


When we got to Polyfest we had to do some activities. We had to dance and take a photo with an Instagram picture around us. Then learnt a bit of choreography that related to dancing then we had to learn about a person in our group and make dance moves for for our group.


Then we had morning tea and watched people dance on a stage. When they finished we all went to

another activity it was another dancing one but it was a Hawaiian dance not a hip hop dance the girls learned the hula and the boys learned the male version and when we were done learning that we went
to learn about when we are 18 we are eligible to vote for our Prime Minister or mayor.


Then after all that we were aloud to walk around in groups and go to all the stages I visited the Maori stage. Surprisingly it was not as packed but it is because it was the first day but after the performance i was  starting to get hungry so I got a smoothie and butter chicken and 3 chicken Kababs and then we had to leave to go on the bus sadly. Everyone had so much fun but not enough time
